| Anthony Minghella's production of Madama Butterfly |
In 2006, as a consultant for The Metropolitan Opera,
I worked on marketing strategy for the company and wrote/designed brochures, ads, and other collateral material for the Met's
2006-07 season of 24 operas including new productions of:
- Puccini’s Madama Butterfly, directed by Anthony Minghella
- Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia, directed by Bartlett Sher
- Puccini’s Il Trittico. directed byJack O’Brien
- Strauss’s Die Ägytische Helena, directed by David Fielding
- Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice, directed by Mark Morris
as well as
- The world premiere of Tan Dun’s The First Emperor with the
composer conducting and Plácido Domingo in the title role
- An abridged, English-language version of Julie Taymor’s hit production
of Mozart’s The Magic Flute which inaugurated a new annual series of winter holiday family entertainment.

First as a consultant and then as Director of Marketing and Special
Programming for New York City Opera, I oversaw the subscription, single ticket and group sales for NYCO's
2007-08 season which included 13 works, including new productions of:
- Margaret Garner by Richard Danielpour and Toni Morrison,
directed by Tazewell Thompson
- Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana & Leoncavallo's Pagliacci,
directed by Stephen Lawless
- Massenet's Cendrillon, directed by Renaud Doucet
- Barber's Vanessa, directed by Michael Kahn
- Purcell's King Arthur, directed by Mark Morris
