As you will see I have added some new paintings of Provincetown streets and the small cottages in Truro in a more colorful, expressive  impressionistic style. These paintings were a big departure from my usual style. I have followed this more colorful approach in a series of tropical palm tree paintings inspired by a recent trip to Miami.  

I created three new Outer Cape paintings this fall once again inspired by the effect of light on color at the beach in Provincetown. Again I am trying to create new effects with light and color.

Both Boat on the ocean and Ocean in fog try to capture the effect of different light and fog on the ocean.

With Racepoint at sunset I was focused on trying to capture the iridescent glow of the sunset and the reflection of the sun on the tourquoise colored ocean.
