I was selected to exhibit my paintings as the "Artist of the Month" for the Westford Parish Center for the Arts during the month of October 2010 so plan ahead!!! I am very excited to display my paintings, some that havent even been painted yet!!!

The PCA is located on 10 Lincoln Street, Westford, MA.

I will be exhibiting a couple of my new oil paintings at the 2009 Westford Regional Art Event March 27th – 29th. This is a regional art event displaying the talent of local adults, children, professionals and amateurs.
Opening reception includes awards, prizes, music and refreshments.

January-February 2008

With the new year I have begun working in a new medium, oil paints! I have always wanted to work in oil but I havent had a study until recently where I could handle the additional care required for oil paint. A pleasant surprise to me is the availability of water mixable or soluble oil paints. These water mixable oils present the best of both worlds to the artist, easy clean up of brushes with soap and water but also the dramatic color, depth and effects achievable only with oil paint. I have composed three paintings so far, two landscapes and something new, a still life study. I probably wont go back to acrylic for awhile as I am having too much fun seeing what I can do with oil!!!

I last exhibited my artwork at the Chelmsford Public Library for the month of October 2007. The title of the show was "Landscapes of New England from the mountains to the shore". There will be a reception from 2-4 on Saturday, October 20.
