The Cabinet Gutting
The first part of the project was stripping out the interior so that it can be rebuilt. I have elected to remove the
lower cabinet doors on the kitchen side. Then shelves were made for the fridge and microwave. In the second version,
I also removed the lower cabinet doors on the driverside.
The front curve was duplicated and they are covered in grey carpet.
The strap in the foreground is the release strap for the upper bunk.

|
The raw shelves were not as easy as I thought they would be. The shelf is not square at all. The back side is 1.5"
offset from the truck center line. The front side is 3" offset from the truck centerline, and the front edge is 1/2"
wider than the back edge.
The curve in the front is an elliptical curve, offset from the truck centerline.
In the first version, I built a base for the refrigerator. In the second version, a basic shelf was used instead. There
is enough room under the refrigerator for a few pairs of crocs. (Rubber Sandles)
Installation
Once the shleves and 110ac circuits were installed, the appliances could be added. In the second version, I added
the separate circuits for the television and the appliances.

Appliances
Not just any appliance will work in the truck. They have to be sized to match both the cabinet openings and the inverter
output. I have already blown one 1750watt inverter. It will be replaced under warranty.
