The Bike Rack
The bicycle rack consists of a pressure treated wood base bolted to the truck frame. To make the best use of standard
bicycle mounts (from a real bicycle shop, not Wal-Mart) the upper portion is made from 3/4" black iron pipe.
This allows any racks that mount to Yakima rack systems to be mounted to the tow vehicle.
This is the 2nd attempt at mounting bicycles to the tow vehicle. The first resulted in a complete failure of the hitch
due to the roughness of the ride.
