The skirt is made out of 3/16 x 6 plate steel. The deck is 3/16 diamond plate steel. All of the deck was cut with
a plasma cutter. The fender wells were cut with a plasma cutter. The remaing skirt pieces were cut on the industrial band
saw. After each piece was tacked in place, the gap and edge between the deck and the skirt received a complete line of weld
and were subsequently ground off. During the test phase above, a pair of templates were made for the fender cutouts. One of
the fender wells is visibale in the center photo above.
