Once you have selected your domicile state and have set up an "address", then you will need a mail forwarding service. Mostly to make sure that you get the mail notifications for your vehicle registrations, your absentee ballots, and insurance documents. There are two very reputable services for this, one based in Livingston TX, the other in Souix Falls, SD. We haven't looked into services in Montana or Florida.
