Why the Boondock Area?
The boondock area will serve many purposes over the life of Camp Agnolo. It will be used to cultivate trees and other
plants for use in the camp ground area proper. When the plants are done, then it will become a level pasture area for use
as a recreation field.
This a full panoramic view of the boondock area in November of 2009. This space was full of down trees, scrub, and
in need of forestry services when we got the land. After taking down the unhealthy trees and clearing the down trees, and
clearing out the scrub brush, there wasn't a lot left. Here's a full panoramic view.

Access to the Boondock Area
The access to the area will be by a road that goes up the hill between the barn and Pad #4. As of Thanksgiving 2009,
the road has only been graded enough to allow a tractor to get up in there. The soil/grass cover was of really poor quality,
and every time it rained, it would shed silt into the loop road.
Temorary measures are in place to direct this silt into a stone catch at the edge of the loop road.
The views from the top edge of the area give a good perspecive on just how high up on the hill this little space will
be.
