I assembled my Jinma 224 from a crate of parts. This was my first experience with a diesel motor or a tractor.

After moving to our new home, we had several needs, a snowblower, a mower, a chipper, and some serious landscaping to do. We priced out individual machines and were looking at $12,000 for a small garden tractor and accessories. Then, I stumbled upon the Chinese Tractor Owners Association. The rest is history.
It took 20 hours of labor to assemble the tractor. This doesn't include the time to pick it up or unload it. There are many reasons to do this, mostly money. A brand name green tractor would cost $17,000. I built mine for $5,800. Click on the picture below to see the full assembly story.
