Hardscaping projects are on-going. The first was to create an English style courtyard, complete with walls, boulders, pavers, and a crushed stone driveway.  All of the man made stone products have come from Camosse Masonary Supply.

The second project is to regrade and contour the front yard to fix some drainage problems. This involved moving a large stone from the back of thehouse and positioning it in front.

The courtyard entrance provides a gateway into the relaxing wrap around gardens of the back yard.

The inner courtyard garden was the first piece of this hardscaping project that was completed.

The front section of the house wasn't all that inviting.

The second step is to minimize the expanse of concrete in the fornt.

Most of the plants in the upper tier rock garden were reclaimed from other parts of the property.

Here's a picture suring the concrete demolition. I'll upload a final picture when the project is completed.

The dwarf blue spruce was salvaged from the back patio. The last cap stones were put into place just this past spring.

Project 1/2 done

The barn roof provided an interesting viewpoint of the courtyard project. I took this picture just after I put the last shingle on the barn.

Early on in the project

The boulders are in place and so the small manufactured stone walls can be set in place. All of the pavers and man made stones are made by Bolduc.
