Kayaking

Kayaks are available only to registered guests of Wickford Marina

We are situated on Mill Cove.

Mill Cove is a gorgeous  40 acre wildlife preserve containing Conanicus Island and Rabbit Island, Flatfish Creek, Mill Creek [otherwise known as the Amazon].   Mill Cove is contiguous with the outer harbor and is close to Wickford Cove which means that over 50 acres of estuary for you to explore and discover !

Our kayaks are "sit-in" type real kayaks and not the "sit-on" type commonly found in rental locations. This means that they are intended for the more careful or experienced kayaker who pays attention to basic stability.   You are expected to provide life preservers  with a U.S. Coast Guard approval before the kayak can be released to you.  Children are not allowed to use our kayaks.

These canoes are available only to our seasonal or transient tenants who have their "big" boat here already and not to the general public. 

Price:  $10  for up to 2 hours [1 person], $15 [2 persons].
