This site is dedicated to my father, Irving C. Moulton, Jr.
He served in the US Army Corps of Engineers in the Second World War as a supply officer. Modern armed forces require supplies as much as brave men.
This information is the best I could glean from the papers I found after his death and from what he told me over the years. There may be some inaccuracies, but this would be due to my interpretation of the cryptic paperwork.

He was always a fan of photography. I have found literally thousands of slides and photos, particularly of the woods of Maine. I hope to put up a site on Maine one day after acquiring a slide scanner.
These pictures are some he took mostly on Guam. Many have faded, are poor to begin with, or too small to enlarge well. There were no notes on them save one, the picture of Fred Hahn, with whom he shared a tent.
I wanted to put these pictures where they could be seen. Hopefully someone may recognize themselves when they were young or be recognized by friends and family.
