Mission Statement

 

We are "All Together Now", working for unity in the body of Christ. Through a collective of churches and various groups, we seek to welcome the disenfranchised back into active participation in the faith community. By opening communication, education and outreach, we seek to put a face on the issues and overcome the loveless discrimination of the GLBT and other rejected communities. Our goal is to open dialog with all congregations so that they may seek out and welcome their alienated brothers and sisters into the body of Christ.


Faith Statement

  • We, the members of All Together Now, agree that the GLBT community and all marginalized people have sacred worth as decreed by God.
  • We acknowledge that GLBT people are now members of many churches and that many churchless outcasts are people of faith.
  • We celebrate and acknowledge the countless positive contributions of the disenfranchised faithful.
  • We recognize that many people who are rejected by the faith community are members of the body of Christ.
  • We dedicate ourselves to the wholeness of the Body which includes all types of people as stated in John 3:16 "that whoever believes in him shall not perish" and John 3:18 "Whoever believes in him is not condemned".
  • We invite all people to share in the table of Christ.
  • We desire that the body will become whole as people are gathered "All Together Now" in faith.
  • We open our hearts to all who seek God.
