Our Purpose

The Westminster Democratic Town Committee has been a way for registered Democrats to get involved in campaigns -- and the civic process in general -- for over 50 years.

We are a part of the grassroots force of the Massachusetts Democratic Party. Our members are involved in our community in other ways. We serve on many town committees, help run elections, and volunteer for local nonprofit organizations.

DNC Chairman Tim Kaine said, “With faith in the American dream, we strive for better schools, economic justice, and

smarter foreign policies because we believe in the God-given principles of equality, freedom, and opportunity. With faith in each other, we work for a common-sense approach to politics that focuses on results, not partisan division, because we recognize that we’re all in this together.”

This motivates our members in service in our community as well as support of political candidates and initiatives.

We can be a resource for registered Democrats and  Independents who are interested in helping out with the campaigns of Democratic candidates. Please see the Calendar and Elections pages for ways you can connect with us. Or just send us an email.
