Looking out from inside St. Peter's Basilica. The direction is precisely east. The
obelisk in St. Peter's Square fits perfectly within the doorway. The contrast between the dark interior and the hot dazzling
exterior is apparent in this photograph. July 18.
The Colliseum. The two girls in the central group of people, walking towards the C
are, left to right, my daughters Anu & Sofia. July 18.
Monte Bianco as seen from the Italian side while driving on autostrada T1/A5. It is
slightly left of center where the road curves towards. The contrast is so weak that it hard to get a good B&W photo using
an inflexible disposable camera. Upon exiting the tunnel out into France it became clear that the view of Mont Blanc
is even better. Unfortunately, I'd run out of exposures. July 19.
