'outbound' path from Paris to Rome via Friesenheim-Heiligenzell, Bodensee, through the Austrian Alps, past Bolzano
to Firenze and Siena. Afterwards, to Rome.

Black is the reverse. Out of Rome - stopping
at Siena again - and the Cinque Terre. Due to heavy tourist traffic out there coupled with the narrowness of the roads
and the steepness of the landscape (not to speak of harassed and harassing police) we rapidly transited through. Someday,
we will pick a better month and make a point of staying awhile. Continuing along the La Spezia coast through Genoa crossing Monte
Bianco / Mont Blanc. Last leg took us via Auxerre back to Gare du Nord.
