Foxy Brown Reignites Lil' Kim Feud
Foxy Brown Reignites Lil' Kim Feud
Foxy Brown has just reignited her beef with fellow rapstress
Lil’ Kim, firing a few subliminal shots at her in a new song.
In the song “Off The Muscle,” Foxy makes
light of Kim competing on the hit television series Dancing With The Stars, rhyming, “Catch me at Marcy at the mall,
but [expletive] will never see me 'Dancin' With The Stars'/Never, will I embarrass my borough, I'm too thorough.” Kim competed
on the show and consistently received high scores before ultimately being eliminated during the show’s ninth week.
In 2005, Kim was convicted of three counts of conspiracy and one count
of perjury for lying to a Federal grand jury about her friends' involvement in a 2001 shooting outside the Hot 97 studios
in Manhattan, which allegedly involved affiliates of rap group Capone-N-Noreaga, who had recently recorded “Bang Bang” featuring
Foxy Brown.
After serving approximately 10 months behind bars, Kim was released
in July 2006, eventually making the appearance on Dancing With The Stars earlier this year.

Chris Brown Team Calls Out Rihanna
Chris Brown Team Calls
Out Rihanna
As new preview clips of Rihanna’s 20/20 interview surfaced, affiliates
of her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown have taken to Twitter in his defense.
As previously reported, Rihanna
spoke to Diane Sawyer about the challenges of leaving
an abusive relationship and being ashamed of falling in love. While Brown has made the media rounds, the 20/20 interview marked
the first time RiRi addressed being assaulted by Brown on the eve of the Grammys. “I caught him in a lie
and he wouldn't tell the truth, so I wouldn't drop it,” she told Sawyer in a clip that aired on Good Morning America. “I couldn't
take that he kept lying to me and he couldn't take that I wouldn't drop it because obviously his back was against the wall;
the truth was right here in the text message. So, it accelerated towards him being violent towards me and it was ugly.
“It wasn’t the same person that says I love you,” she continued. “It
was not those… eyes. He had … no soul in his eyes. Just blank. He was clearly blacked out. There was no person when I looked
at him.”
The February 2009 assault left the 21-year-old Rihanna battered and
bruised, and Brown was eventually sentenced to five years of probation, community labor, and one year of domestic-violence
counseling.
After the preview debuted, some members from Brown’s camp took to
Twitter in the embattled singer’s defense.
“I wish dancers can speak about things that really go on! Let me just
say, Chris Brown was pushed to the extreme!” tweeted one of Brown’s dancers.
“Awwww man I am Mad!!!! Truth will come to Light !!! It always does!!!!”
said another.
Rihanna’s interview with Diane Sawyer on 20/20 premieres tonight (November
6). Her album, Rated R, hits stores November 23rd.

Nas and Kelis Divorce
Battle Continues
The bitter divorce proceeding between Nas and Kelis continues
to escalate, as now the rapper is attempting to prevent his ex-wife from getting the support she is asking for.
In papers filed by his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan, Nas is asking the
judge in his divorce case to block Kelis from getting spousal support. Nas is also asking for joint custody of their
two-month-old son, Knight, as well.
Kelis is now asking for approximately $72,728
per month, nearly $20,000 more than the $55,000 per month that a New York judge ordered Nas to pay in July.

Rihanna To Break Silence
Rihanna To Break Silence
After keeping quiet for months, Rihanna
is finally scheduled to address the incident with former boyfriend Chris Brown when she appears on ABC’s “Good Morning
America” on Thursday (November 5th).
As previously reported, Brown was charged with felony battery assault
after hitting Rihanna the night before the Grammy Awards. According to Access Hollywood, RiRi will sit down with the show’s
host Diane Sawyer. An extended version of the interview will also appear on “20/20” the following day. The network launched
a promotional run in support of the anticipated interview this past weekend.
Meanwhile, Brown spoke on the incident on Larry King Live and more
recently on Hot 97 during an interview with Angie Martinez.
“Feelings are feelings and they don’t go away overnight,” he told
Angie. “Especially if you sit down and be like, ‘Look, I’m [going to] really be in this relationship with you, past whatever
the case, past our busy schedules, past us being two of the biggest artists. I really care about her.”
In related news, Rihanna’s fourth album, “Rated R” is poised to hit
stores November 23rd. The LP’s first single, “Russian Roulette” leaked a few weeks ago. The second single, “Wait Your Turn,” will be
available on iTunes tomorrow. See below for a full listing of Rihanna’s “Rated R.”
