I am really ready for the warmer weather to begin, if only because
we can get out of the house more and do more outdoor things. We have season passes this year to Six Flags so even if
we have a day where we just want to get out and do SOMETHING we can always head there. I'm actually hoping maybe we'll
hit the water park there a few times this year on those hot days. It's hard to even imagine HOT days with the cold weather
we've had here. Of course, even as I type this we are expecting high 60s weather today, which is pretty nice, especially
compared to the windy and cold barely out of the 30s weather we had over the weekend.
This is our busy month, which is fine since we really haven't done
a whole lot in the month of February. I'll be celebrating my birthday and then the following weekend I'll head down
to North Carolina to visit with my parents for a few days, taking the younger two kids with me. I'll return home on
a weekday, and then get a few more days at home with all 3 kids, who also have dental appointments during one of those days,
just before Easter and the candy fest that will be happening there from the big bunny.
Additional birthdays are also celebrated this month, including
Nicolas' big 8th birthday bash at the bowling alley, Frank's mom's birthday, and some other friends' kids birthdays.
So there won't be any more "free" weekends for us at least until sometime in April.
