So,
believe it or not I am planning 3 Disney trips in the next year. I have recently managed to convince my loving
husband to let me take Nicolas to Disney for a VERY short 2-night trip there just so he can experience
one day of their Star Wars Weekend events. It became much easier to convince him when the trip will be VERY inexpensive
in terms of Disney trips. It will also be the shortest. We will only be spending ONE day at the park itself,
and that will be Hollywood Studios. Still, there is plenty to do there with all of the Star Wars Events and with the
park being open extended hours. I'm excited about it but I'm planning on suprising Nicolas with the trip, so SHHHH
to anyone reading who may see him!
I
feel a little bad about excluding the other 2 kids, but in reality they would not be into the stuff that we are planning on
seeing and doing for that time. They will get to spend 3 days with their grandparents in North Carolina instead, and
I know they'll be happy about that.
The
October 10-year anniversary trip is all settled now. We'll be staying in the Beach Club Villas there, which should be
very cool. We'll be able to walk over to EPCOT at any time, which is great as we plan on really enjoying more of
the Food and Wine Festival there this time. We'll probably try to do one evening at Magic Kingdom attending Mickey's
Not-So-Scary Halloween party because as expensive as that night can be, it's still too cool to be in the park after dark.
Besides, we won't be shelling out any money for our park tickets for the trip since we have annual passes.
Then
there is our planned trip for next January. Nothing on that has been booked at all because I'm waiting until June to
make those reservations. June is the time when all resorts are open up for us to reserve with our vacation club
points, and I'd really like for us to try to stay at the Animal Kingdom Villas for that trip. I'll only be able to book
part of the trip in June, and will have to wait until December 1st to book the rest of it. That will be a
bit tough but we'll see what happens. January is a very slow time at Disney, so I think we can swing it.
Anyway,
dining reservations have been planned for our short trip in June as well as the October trip. I plan to book flights
sometime this month for October as well. If I could find a way to swing taking the little kids to Disney while I
am in NC next week, believe me I would do it!
