My trip to China to adopt my daughter Lily has opened my eyes to new color combinations and fabrics. In China, all colors have meaning and all colors go together – nothing clashes. Red, the favorite, symbolizes joy and happiness.

In these quilts I hope to express the physical and emotional joy of creating and seeing that I felt during my travels in China.
