- 1. Each student should create and keep a "name
& grade" card for fichas.

2. Students should write the Spanish word (correctly
spelled!!!) on one side of the card and draw a corresponding picture (or
write the English word) on the other. **Students are encouraged
to use an image instead of the English word wherever possible!

|
- Write a sentence in Spanish (at
the bottom on the Spanish side of the card) and underline the word.
This sentence should help you understand the word in context.
|
|
|
- 4. Vocabulary cards will
not be accepted unless accompanied by name & grade card.
|
|
|
- 5. Each card is worth one
point: If the Spanish word is misspelled or the picture / English
translation is incorrect, one point will be deducted. If an
accent mark is missing, 1/2 point will be deducted. If the writing
is illegible or the picture not recognizable, points will be deducted.

- . Cards must be ready to turn in at beginning of
class.
