The J.E.B. Stuart Camp 1506, Sons of Confederate Veterans, will hold its 14^th Annual Banquet beginning at 6:00 PM on Saturday, November 1, 2008, at the Dobbin House Tavern in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

It is with great honor and privilege to announce that our guest speaker this year will be the famous Southern author, Walter Donald Kennedy. Mr. Kennedy is the author of Myths of American Slavery, and is the co-author, along with his twin brother, James Ronald Kennedy, of The South Was Right, Was Jefferson Davis Right?, and Why Not Freedom! America's Revolt Against Big Government. 

Mr. Kennedy will discuss his latest book, Red Republicans and Lincoln's Marxists: Marxism in the Civil War, which asserts a Marxist connection to Lincoln's war.  He will also hold a book signing.

Mr. Kennedy, a former Commander of the Louisiana Division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, and the recipient of the Sons of Confederate Veteran's Distinguished Service Medal, has appeared on numerous radio and television talk shows, including the Oliver North Show and Politically Incorrect.

There will be a buffet dinner which includes, Salad & Bread Bar, Chicken Coq au Vin, Baked Ham with Pineapple Raisin Sauce, Stuffed Shells with Tomato Sauce, Rice Pilaf, Boiled Parsley Potatoes, Buttered Dill Carrots, Green Beans Almondine, Iced Tea, Lemonade, Desserts, Coffee, and Tea.  There is also a Cash Bar.

The price for the banquet is $27.00 per person.
