The equipment shed

I've always got a project (or two) under way. Usually it has something to do with planting, trimming, thinning, harvesting, trail and road work, etc. There have been a few construction projects, and the "occasional" work on equipment to maintain the farm.

Currently, I'm restoring a 1946 Cletrac AG-6 crawler tractor I bought a few years back. It's really a farm tractor, but has a dozer blade on the front, so most people would call it a dozer.

It's reason for joining us was to do some ongoing road and trail maintenance, as well as some light landscaping work around the farm.

Overcoming some of it's challenges has turned out to be an enjoyable hobby as well. This is a photo of how it looked in the Spring of 2001, after the first overhaul.
