I added a new page with links to other mummer’s web sites. I did open each one but I didn’t do a thorough investigation into everything on each site. For those who are interested in what the club web site contains and looks like, look over the other sites and pick out the ideas that you would like to see put in our web site. Some of the web sites are very impressive.

The web site that I set up is created through my Verizon account. The format of the site is limited to the templates that Verizon provides. I have a limited choice as to what and how I can put things on the web site. Other providers of site space give you a lot more freedom concerning how and what you put on the site. As a general rule, you can figure that the more the site provider offers, the more it charges. If someone wishes to pay for a web site, they have my blessing.

I can provide sound clips that can be played through the site. We can also have a lot of pictures on the site. You don’t get anything without having a drawback. The more you put on a site, the longer it takes to open that page on your computer. I have a Verizon broadband DSL service. My internet connections are very fast. The people who have dial-up internet service may have a long wait for some web sites to open. Keep that fact in mind when you suggest features that we might install.

I will probably edit the links that I just installed. If you know of any other sites that are not listed on our list, just pass the information to me and I will update the list. I think that after we make all our changes and finalize our format, I will look into contacting the other sites to have them provide links to our site.

Again, great job and thank you very much for all of your hard work and
dedication. I do agree with Jerry regarding the minutes and the fact
that we need to be careful with some of the content on the minutes such
as dues and theme items.

With regard to the notices that Bern puts out I will make sure that you
get the Word document emailed to you and maybe you can cut and paste.

I mentioned before that when I reinstalled my Verizon software, my Web sites got wiped out.  Here is the address of my Fighter Plane simulation site.  http://mysite.verizon.net/vze1zozf/jackspratspx  Take a look at it. On the home page, I have a music file that plays. Here are some questions. Does the music slow the downloading process too much? Would you like this feature put on this site? If you like it, do you have any particular piece of music that you would prefer? Along those lines, always feel free to make any suggestion about changing the layout of this site.
