I have contacted Simon & Schuster and Pengiun Putnam Inc., who I believe to be the possible owners of the rights to the Connie Blair Mystery series. Several months have gone by without word from either of these publishing houses. To the best of my knowledge the Connie Blair Mystery series is in the public domain.
