The Stamp Act Congress vision is to develop public understanding of, confidence in, and support for liberty from Federal taxes
or restoration of full Congressional representation for the 500,000 residents of the District of Columbia.

The Stamp Act Congress is a grass roots organization that:
1) Offers pocket rubber stamps stating "Stamp Out Taxation without Representation in Washington DC!" to be used
for stamping currency,
2) Makes available a public website based forum where people can discuss goals relevant to achieving democracy in the
District of Columbia,
3) Provides methods by which American citizens can contact their members of Congress or the media to inform them of the
injustice that citizens of the District of Columbia face under taxation without representation,
4) Provides leadership on goals affecting the restoration of liberty in the District of Columbia, and
5) Is a font of information about the history of suffrage in the District of Columbia.

I'm stamping everything - outbound
mail (even my roommate's mail!) and
every dollar in my wallet.
It has sparked a few good talks from
the curious recipients. Definitely
raising awareness.
