(I would like to say that even though this site has not been updated too often, my supplemental adblock filters are usually updated every other day)

Hello everyone, I have made major changes to my Adblock filters. My filters are now supplemental filters (this means that you have to use them in conjunction with another filter subscription).

I have made my supplemental filters to work best with EasyElement+EasyList.

My supplemental filters give you added adblocking abilities for sites that contain uncommon ads that aren’t fully covered by the EasyList.

This move is for the best as there will be less false positives and better performance.

To use the new adblock filters, you will have to first remove my old filters completely, this can be done by clicking on Tools then click on Adblock Plus then a new window will open
in the adblock window, click on Filters then click on Remove all filters. (this will not remove any of your filter subscriptions)

Using adblock:
Step 1: make sure you are using the latest adblock extension located here http://adblockplus.org/en/installation

Step 2: Subscribe to my filter list by clicking on Razor512's supplemental filter

Step 3: Subscribe to the EasyElement+EasyList (created by rick752)

Beta Filters

I added a extra set of filters which will be for testing out new filters that I am working on.

(The changes in the beta filters will be applied to the main one after I fix all known problems with it)

The beta filters are currently outdated.

*IMPORTANT* Adblock filter update 5/3/07
As shown at the top of the page, major changes were made to the filters. I made my new filters to be a supplement to the  easy list filters. The easy list filters are currently the best general filters on the web.  My filters will just be used to add extra adblocking ability to sites that aren't completely covered by the EasyList.
(My filters give more adblocking ability on   torrent sites, forums/messageboards, some tech sites, many hentai and anime sites, ddl sites and other sites in this field that may have uncommon ads)

Adblock filter update 4/13/07
Made multiple updates and had to temporarily remove these 2 filters
#DIV(nav_bar)
forums.g4tv.com#DIV(id=header)
G4 updated their forums (the New UI is the worst ever created). Because of these updates, those filters had to be removed until G4 adds a login button into the forum UI.

Adblock filter update 2/25/07
Great news!!!
Major updates have been made to the adblock filters.  I went through the entire filter list and removed filters that would no longer needed.  I also added many new rules to fix many of our ad problems. Although many changes have been made, here is a list of the top three changes.
  • Completely fixed all display and ad problems at Demonoid.com (site now looks extremely neat  with over 30% extra screen space now used for real content and not ad space)
  • Cleaned up the the filter list and added new rules for improved performance when loading ad filled web pages.
  • googled over 1000 web pages this week to make new adblock rules

Adblock filter update 11/07/06
I have now created a filter subscription for my web site. These filters will be updated more frequently. You can subscribe to my filter by going into your adblock plus preferences then click on Filters then click on add filter subscription then copy and paste this link into the filter list location http://mysite.verizon.net/vze2241e/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/adblock.txt

Adblock filter update 10/23/06
Sorry for the long delay for the adblock filters, did a large update and cleaned out entries that were no longer needed. I was able to block many ad DIV elements which made many websites look much better.
I was sadly unable to remove the small blank space on the right side of the screen at www.demonoid.com, will continue to work on a fix for it.

Adblock filter update 8/6/06
I have made many changes to my filters. This filter blocks more ads than other known filters.  I was also able to remove annoying to DIV
elements from many web sites such as the little black bar that acted as a border for the banner advertisement at the top of the G4 TV forums. and removed many other useless elements from just about all webpages that has ads, so users will have more screenspace to view the actual content of the web site and not junk left over from blocked ads.
Adblock filter update 4/22/06
I added a new version of the adblock plugin. It has many bug fixes and runs smoother than the old one. Please replace your old one with the new one.
Adblock filter update 2/12/06
I blocked all of the new ads that were placed on many sites. Fixed the ad problem on download.com (everything is now extremely neat and clean and 100% no ads). Atomfilms.com can still play flash videos with adblock on, just wait 15 seconds (site has a 15 second delay) and the video will play. I also blocked certain DIV ads which caused firefox to crash when the ad was viewed (those ads will never bother us again).

Adblock filter update 1/2/06
I have completely remade the filter.  It will now block more ads than ever and best of all, i have completely fixed the speed problem that the filter had and fixed  the problem that firefox would have when it complained about a script that is making it run slow. (get the filter and when importing it, make sure you overwrite the old one (for all updates, always use the overwrite)
Adblock filter update 12/25/05 (whats new)
In this filter, I blocked lots of new ads and fixed a few performance problems that come users had with certain forums and scripts that will cause firefox to hang  but the hang will not be big enough for firefox to give you the option to stop it.
I looked into the scripts before i blocked them and made sure that they were not usefel to the user before i blocked them.
(some of the filters are stat counters that the server uses but there not useful to the users on the site and that script usally causes a small hang)

Importing filters.

If you are not able to see the filter files in the  import window, you will have to do this.

  1. Unzip the file
  2. Right-click on the filter file and click on Rename
  3. Add      .txt     on the end of the file
  4. You should then be ablt to import the filter file

Here is a modification that you can do to your Firefox web browser to make web pages load much faster.

1.Type “about:config” into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:

network.http.pipelining

network.http.proxy.pipelining

network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

.default configuration in Firefox only allows one request at a time so when you enable pipelining it will make several at once and this will make pages load faster

2. Alter the entries as follows:

Set “network.http.pipelining” to “true”

Set “network.http.proxy.pipelining” to “true”

Set “network.http.pipelining.maxrequests” to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.

3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” and set its value to “0”. This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.

After this, click the home button then close firefox then open it again everything should run faster in firefox.
