Year 2000 Plans         The trip starts as pilot McCarthy slides behind
                                       the controls of the overloaded 98 Ford
                                       Taurus.  Meers has taken over the
                                       overwhelming responsablility of
                                       co-pilot/accomodations negotiator.  The
                                       route is planned by navigator Curley on
                                       the IBM Think Pad running GPS and
                                       Delorme software.
                                       Arnold acts as rear route navigation
                                       assistant.  The start is late and with precious light left the
                                       team proceeds to Nubble Light in York Maine.
