BSA Region 3R1a
The Lancaster-Lebanon T-1a, T-1b, T-2a, and T-2b
The T-1a has thicker stitching in the letters, but is
especially noticeable in the outline of the heart-shaped center of the
two-headed Distelfink. The T-2a has an orange-red color to the twill, while the T-2b has a
straight red color to the twill. In the close-up above, you can also
notice that the T-2b has a more coarse twill than the T-2a.
The Lancaster-Lebanon T-3, T-4a, and T-4b
The T-4a has a shiny silver border thread while the T-4b has a flat
gray border thread, This one was hard to capture on a scan since both show
up shiny, but you can see the color difference anyway. They are really
easy to tell apart when they are in your hand.
