Modigliani (Nobel Prize, 1985) and Robert L. Heilbroner. Noted New School faculty and lecturers include Thorstein Veblen,
Lewis Mumford, Harold Laski, Franz Boas, John Maynard Keynes, Bertrand Russell, and Felix Frankfurter. Additionally,
with the establishment of the Ecole Libre des Hautes Etudes in 1942, it became the war-time home for such world-renowned scholars
