The Celebration of Black Writing Festival kicks off with a Live Radio Broadcast on Wednesday, May 20, 2009, followed by various events the rest of the week, including Writers in the Schools, school matinees, panel discussions, workshops, children’s and hip-hop youth pavilions, main stage performances, outdoor book fair, and vending opportunities.
