Loudoun County Animal Shelter & RabbitWise want to help you
find
Somebunny to Love
In honor of Adopt a Rescue Rabbit Month, the Loudoun County Animal Shelter and RabbitWise are teaming up to help every
shelter rabbit find a new, loving home.
During the month of February, all rabbits adopted from the Loudoun County
Animal Shelter will receive:
· FREE spay/neuter (if necessary)
· FREE Bunny Love Kit with toys and treats your rabbit will love
· A complimentary personal consultation with a RabbitWise expert
to answer any questions about your new pet!
Plus, we’re hosting two Somebunny to Love
open houses, where representatives from RabbitWise will be at the Loudoun
County Animal Shelter to show off rabbits available for adoption and
answer questions about rabbit care. We’ll also show you how to build a
low cost rabbit habitat!
Somebunny to Love open houses will be:
Saturday, February 16

Saturday, February 23
10:00am – 2:00pm

MARCH 2008:
16 (Sunday), 1 PM to 3 PM: PRE-EASTER PROTEST at the Fairfax PETLAND. RabbitWise will be there. Call 703-642-8367
if you have any concerns about the weather. It’s supposed to be windy, but we can deal with that. The focus is on rabbits,
so wear your bunny outfits if you like! Directions:
From the Beltway, get off at Exit 52, Route 236 in Annandale, going WEST toward Fairfax.
Go several miles. The first mall on the right (near sign for Einstein Bagels) is Pickett
Shopping Center. Turn right at the traffic light onto Pickett Road. We'll be on the public sidewalk at the next traffic light, right
side of the road, near the wine store. To prevent Petland from calling the police about trespassers, please pass us and park
at the next mall over, on the left side of Pickett Road,
near McDonald's. Or park at Margate Manor, the apartment complex on 236 just before Pickett
Road as you head west. We hear they do not tow without giving notice. The street address of Petland
is 9404 Main Street, Fairfax, VA 22031.
19 (Wednsday): BUNNY BONNAZA: RabbitWise will participate in LOUDOUN COUNTY'S ANIMAL SHELTER's event sponsored
by the Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum on Wednesday 19 March, from 10:00 AM to 1:00. We will be providing information about rabbits
and rabbit care to visiting families. The event will be held within the Claude Moore Park Facility at 21668 Heritage
Farm Lane, Sterling, Virginia 20164. Bunny Bonanza is free with paid admission to the Museum.

RabbitWise, in conjunction with the Loudoun County Animal Shelter, will be participating in the Bunny Bonanza event

WHITE RABBIT TEA fund raiser. At Lana's house in Bethesda. Come and enjoy tea and desserts
and play croquet. Sugested donation: $20. Check back for details.

14-18 (Thursday - Monday) Hilton Mark Center, Alexandria, VA: AR 2008 Come help represent and advocate for rabbits among other Animal Rights activists.
