Spalted Maple Vase with Ebony Lid

This vase is made of Spalted Maple and Ebony.  The Ebony finial has a carved spiral pattern.  This piece is fourteen inches tall by five inches wide.  Spalted Maple is characterized by fine black lines running randomly through the wood, contrasting with the creamy white of the Maple.

Ambrosia Maple Hollow Form

This Ambrosia Maple Hollow Form features a rim and finial made from Padauk.  The piece stands ten inches tall by six inches wide.
