Prints Now Available at the Wheeling Artisan Center
Copies of these prints are now for sale at the Wheeling Artisan
Center in Wheeling, WV.

The “River Towns” prints are enhanced color images of scenes and views of the Wheeling,
West Virginia area. They focus on the Ohio River, the heart of the region, and
try to capture some of its dramatic river vistas. They also portray some historic
points of interest in the cities and towns of this unique area. They were
created by processing digital camera images with methods similar to those used by artificial satellites that observe the earth
and space.
John Kogut is a native of Martins Ferry, Ohio. He is a graduate of Wheeling College and Boston University, and has worked as a scientist in
private industry with US Government clients that include NASA, the US Air Force and the Missile Defense Agency.
