This
new having no analogues light duty roadheader
with the performance exceeding the existing machines
of the same class is designed to mechanize breaking
and loading the mined rock while driving mine
workings of rounded, arched, trapezoidal and rectangular
forms of section in coal and mixed faces (50%
of coal and 50 % of rock) with single-axis compressive
strength of up to 80 MPa and abrasivity not more
than 15 mgs with an inclined gradients ±12°
in mines hazardous on gas (methane) and coal dust.
Working rock section driven by the machine from
one placing is 8..17m2.
