PK_8MA
The
PK-8MA heading machine is designed for driving
development workings and extraction chambers in
underground potash ore mines where cutting resistance
may vary from 4.0 to 4.5 kN/cm2 and rock breaking
point up to 60 MPa.
The machine breaks rock in the face, clears the
face from the rock and loads it into mine cars.
The cutting tool of a rotary type has 2 drills
(external four-beam drill with cups and internal
double-beam drill with starting borers) rotating
in different directions.
The machine has a mounted drill rig for drilling
methane drainage boreholes.
Smooth control of the working feed provides optimal
performance of the drills in faces with the different
ultimate strength of rocks.
The machine has a combined system of dust suppression
consisting of dust evacuation and water spray
subsystems.
The heading machine has semi-automatic and manual
modes of control. The control mode depends on
mining, geological and technical conditions in
which the heading machine is to be employed.
