Special Automatic Chamber Tower Filter-Press KMPm

Special automatic chamber tower filter-press KMPm 38 - new filter-press, which has combined best design solutions of currently produced equipment. It is designed for filtration under excessive pressure of liquid suspensions containing from 50 up to 2000 kg/m3 of suspended particles with up to 5000 kg/m3 solid phase density.

Filter-press KMPm is indispensable in dewatering processes of heavy metal cakes with up to 8% moisture, that excludes the necessity of drying for further transportation and considerably reduces power consumption.

Main filter-press function is separation of slurries into solid and liquid phase with further washing and mechanical squeezing of cake; and also dewatering of of heavy metal suspensions, such as copper, molybden, lead and other concentrates.

Dewatering efficiency is achieved by means of recommended technology of filtration, cake squeezing by diaphragms, washing and drying, correct choice of filtering cloth.

Automatic filter-press KMPm 38 is equiped with microprocessor based automatic control system, allowing to control filtration process according to preset cyclogramme, and also to alter cyclogramme in the process of operation.

Pay-back time of filter-press KMPm 38 for reaching the capacity of 400-450 000 tones per year of cooper concentrate with cake moisture 8% is less than 2 years!

Filter-press KMPm 38 is equiped with additional cloth shifting actuators, which are used during cake discharge and reduce load on the cloth.

In filter-press KMPm 38 special blades with polyurethane working surface are provided for cloth and rollers cleaning. Conveyer is placed on the recovery chamber side for cake removal during discharge operation.

Filter-press is equiped with up-to-date wearproof valves, which are placed at collectors of suspension feed and discharge, washing water and drying air feed.
