Flying Goose Quilts

Longarm Services

Flying Goose Quilts is a longarm quilting service specializing in allover quilting, pantograph and custom designs. Visits are by appointment only.

Please schedule your drop off and pick up times in advance by phone or by email. I am available to meet you at a local quilt shop or in my home studio.

Initial Consultation

When we have our initial consultation, a work order is prepared.  At that time we will take a look at your quilt top and discuss what type of quilitng you have in mind.  We can select a pattern and thread color to use on your quilt.  We will take measurements to determine the overall size of your quilt and estimate the cost for quilting.

I will log your quilt into my work order log and prepare an estimate while you wait.  I will schedule your quilting and let you know approximately when it will be completed.

All work is completed on a first come, first served basis. Any rush requests are subject to a 15% surcharge.

Additional Charges:

There will be a $5.00 surcharge  for shipping and handling on special order threads.  I stock a large variety of threads for you to select for your quilt.  If you do not see the color you like, I will order it for you.  Color charts are available.

I can attach your prepared binding to the top of your quilt for you.  The charge for this is $0.75 per linear inch.  To determine the length, add the total perimeter of the quilt, divide by 12 to convert to feet.  Multiply that number by .75.
