Here you'll find some good information about Hardy Reels since this is a scan of an original Hardy Flyer from approximately the late 60's.

Check out this neat knot tying link.

The scan below is taken from and original Hardy Instruction Manual I have in my collection. I have saved it in a high degree of resolution to enable you to zoom in using any photo editor or post processing editor you may have and maintain resolution. It has been noted by many of the catalog dealers, and myself as well, that the non line guard Perfects may be swapped from RHW to LHW following the instructions below. It was also graciously pointed out by forum member whatsleft2 on Clarks Bamboo Forum the screw on the Perfect is a left hand thread and caution must be followed should one decide to convert their Perfect to LHW as the screw may part company with the reel.

These pages were scanned from a Fly Fishing handbooklet put out by Weber. I don't know the vintage of the booklet but it was endorsed by O.W. Smith.

These pages are scans taken from old Pflueger of Akron Ohio Catalogs. Great information on weight of reels and backing capacities etc.

Scan taken from a Cortland Catalog about the 333 line and it mentions it being the most sensational advance in fly rod lines in 28 years.
