The scan below is taken from and original Hardy Instruction Manual I have in my collection. I have saved it in a high degree
of resolution to enable you to zoom in using any photo editor or post processing editor you may have and maintain resolution.
It has been noted by many of the catalog dealers, and myself as well, that the non line guard Perfects may be swapped from
RHW to LHW following the instructions below. It was also graciously pointed out by forum member whatsleft2 on Clarks Bamboo
Forum the screw on the Perfect is a left hand thread and caution must be followed should one decide to convert their Perfect
to LHW as the screw may part company with the reel.

Scan taken from a Cortland Catalog about the 333 line and it mentions it being the most sensational advance in fly rod lines
in 28 years.
