The driving power behind Eclipse Studio is Matt Balint, an accomplished
gold and silversmith. He is an artist who works exclusively out of his studio in the Saratoga Springs area of New York.
The origin of his style is rooted within the ancient practice of smithing precious
metals and stone which spans across the range of free-form abstract
expression into finely tailored contemporary jewelry.
Aside from creating beautiful and unique jewelry, Matt repairs silver and gold work for a number of retailers in the greater
Saratoga Springs and Capital District area of New York. He
is also available for custom commission work by appointment.
As a member of the Saratoga Arts
Council, Matt teaches smithing of precious metals locally.
He also offers individual private instruction in his studio.
