Rocky
Rocky's Share-A-Pet Story
We adopted Rocky from Share-A-Pet.
Rocky and his companion P-Nut first came to the Share-A-Pet Society
and were offered as a pair for adoption, hoping that some loving
soul would come forward and adopt them together. At the time Rocky
walk with a severe limp due to a paralyzed paw. The pair waited and
waited, and because of their devotion to each other Share-A-Pet
would not split the pair up. Rocky's front leg was removed to
improve his quality of life. He adjusted well without the deformed
paw. In February 2006 P-nut passed away of old age. Shortly after,
Larry and Karen Orrok fell in love with the gentle old pup and
adopted him, making him a member of their happy home. Rocky lived
out his final years surrounded by warmth, love, and the happiness
that can only come from family. |
