Council Update
At it's October meeting, the council:
- accepted MInutes and Treasurer's Report.
- accepted Pastor's Report.
- set the dates for the Christmas Dinner and Party, and time for the Christmas Eve Service.
- discussed Budget Meeting that the Finance & Stewardship Committee had with several Council Members. This is a very
serous time, financially.
- President, David M., has spoken with Pastor Blair Morgan, who is the new ELCA staff person in our Synod, who works with
Stewardship and Evangelism. He has also checked with Pastor Sara Lee Faulkner, about ideas and possibilities.
- decided to again participate in the Holiday Helping Hands project.
- learned that several youth who are looking for Eagle Scout Projects have expressed an interest in working with our Church.
