TDSA HEADING

Welcome to Tamizh Bhakthip Paadar Kalanjiyam,
a site on the web dedicated to tamil devotional songs' lyrics!

This site includes lyrics of devotional songs, and that includes classical and semi-classical (whatever that means) too. This page was separated out from Tamizhth Thiraippadap Paadar Kalanjiyam as a growing need for a page that is exclusively devotional and non-filmi was felt.

This site includes lyrics and just lyrics only. Now, if you are here in search of audio versions of songs, you will be disappointed. There are tons of sites on the web with audio versions. This site was created with the objective of hosting lyrics only, for the know-the-tune-but-not-the-lyrics people. And let's keep it that way.

Get to know the words. Words are like the body and the tune's like the soul. And the body gives the soul a shape, so its beauty can be perceived. Increase your njaana and your bhakthi. Be devoted to the Lord and be liberated.

For your convenience, this site presents the lyrics in three different forms:

Thank you, contributors!

(Curious, aren't you?)

*The form works fine with Internet Explorer 4 and all versions of Netscape Navigator. I couldn't post successfully with Internet Explorer 3.

There may be some songs in this site that are incomplete/incorrect. I would appreciate if you help me complete/correct the songs. If you find a mistake or would like to contribute to this archive, feel free to email me: kumar.athreya@verizon.net.
