Welcome to the Sunday at Three Concert Series! We proudly celebrate our
sith season with music written for a wide variety of instrumental genres and would be delighted if you can to join us for
one or every concert that we will present between September and March.

January 27, 2008; 3 PM: Jung Sun Yoon, fortepiano.
Jung Sun has been practicing piano since early childhood. For her, piano is a life time company and best vehicle to
document her perception and interpretation of the world. Seven years of studying in Germany define her individual style,
developed and polished years later at Boston University College of Fine. Her desire for depth and authenticity has grown into
an interest for period keyboard instruments ? the harpsichord, clavichord and fortepiano that is pursuing as a doctoral candidate
at Boston University.

3 PM: Ana Sorina Popa, pianist.
Ms. Popa is creator and Artistic Director of the Sunday at Three Concert Series, hosted by the First Parish Church
in Dorchester as well as the founder of the TIBIKA Chamber Ensemble. After winning New England Conservatory's 2001 Commencement
Competition, she made her orchestral debut playing C. Saint-Saëns' Fifth Piano Concerto under Richard Hoenich. She has
given numerous recitals at the New England Conservatory, Longy School of Music, the French Library in Boston, Kendal in Hanover,
NH, at the Romanian Academy in Rome, Italy, and at the renowned Dalles Hall in Bucharest. She has performed and taped live
broadcastings for the Romanian National Radio and Television Stations and is a prizewinner at the Young Pianist Competition
in Stresa, and Rome, Italy. Program will include 3 pieces from Granados? Goyescas, Chopin? s Polonaise Fantasie and
Schumann?s Kreisleriana.
March 23, 2008; 3 PM:
Laura Pauna and Cara Hesse, piano duo.
Laura
and Cara have been playing together as a professional piano duo for over 7 years. Their recent performances brought them to
countries like Germany, South Africa, Poland, Italy, Israel and the USA and to such prestigious venues as the Jerusalem
Theatre, Carnegie Hall (NY) and the Z.K. Mathews Hall in Pretoria. Their engagements for the 2007-2008 season include touring
Germany, Italy and the United States as well as re-invitations for soloist performances with The Cape Town Philharmonic and
New York's Carnegie Hall. Cara and Laura are the top winners of IBLA Grand Prize 2006, the 3rd prize at the "Valentino
Bucchi" two piano competition Rome (2006) as well as the Sarah Lahat prize for duo piano (Tel-Hai International Piano Master
Classes 2005). They are also laureates of the ATKV-Musiq chamber music competition in South Africa from 2001 to 2004.
