What to bring to the first class:
First, you should have a guitar that
fits you. You should purchase the best quality guitar that you can afford. There are many good quality guitars for
under $300.00. You also will want to make sure you get a case and a stap with the guitar. Always leave your guitar in the
case when not playing it.
*Never stand your guitar against a wall or the neck will seperate from the body of the
guitar.
Second, You will need a guitar tuner. This is important, the guitar will never
sound good if you are out of tune. Tuner will range from $10.00 to $50.00.
Third, Have some idea of what type of music you will want to learn to play. Since
I only teach beginner guitar the first several lessons will be learning the basics and it's up to you how fast you progress.
The speed at which you progress is determined by how much you practice.
