Hansberry Philadelphia PA 4th Infantry Division Francis Joseph Hansberry is my wife's Dad.  He trained with the 1st Armored Division at Fort Hood TX before joining the occupation of Germany with the 4th Infantry Division.  Frank still lives in the Philadelphia area with his wife Elsie.  They celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in 2006. 1951 - 1953

I got a nice email from Johnny's niece Wanda, pointing out that John was a Corporal in the U. S. Army, not the USAF as indicated in the obituary.  Thanks Wanda.   My Dad liked Johnny, and the Crissman's, and when I was a kid, Dad took me along with him to Crissman's packing plant in Castanea where we saw John a lot, just about every week.  John used to show me around the plant.  He would give me a hot dog to eat while we were walking through the plant.  John always treated me kindly.
