Intended to be use with HS225MG servo and optional shock absorbers (picture below)
or any kind of coushionning. Servo linkage included. You might consider using servo stretcher to further improve safety of
the servo geartrain, improve over all kinematics and end locking relibility. Servo is not included.
Custom fitted Dave Brown wheel is part of the package.

This particular set up is made by removing servo bracket and powering the unit with long pushrod and nose
forwarded servo. In some cases it might be the only option when lack of space or proper balancing of the model
is in stake.
Lower picture shows that in this case soft mounting (shocks or cushonning) is still possible.
Movement of the unit does not interfere with prime servo action.
Unit in this stage is not offerred as a separate item, but shows possibilities.

Servo bracket
for 1/5 scale size of LG
This item is intended for those who already got a set of LG and would like to place the servo next to the
unit in more practical and compact way.
Aircraft grade aluminium plate properly heat treated, bent and tempered for ridgidity.
I have made about a dozen of bracket samples to find the best spot for servo shaft.Placing the
servo in this particular way was very tempting. The current form satisfies me the most. Bracket is very ridgid. Servo arm
position creates positive kinematics. Servo operates smooth and effortlessly because is lacking of a blind
spots commonly seen on other designs. There is no additional shaft, arm or set screws to loosen up.
Over all it creates very compact and reliabale mechanizm allowing to use one size smaller servo then we
normally use.
Kit contains small pushrod and pushrod connectors
Bracket is not drilled for servo screw, but you can ask to be drilled with no extra charge

HS 225MG
HS 5245MG
and probably number of similar servos with slight modification of the bracket
You can use Std 2-26 screw with nuts or use strip of ply with CA and use #2 wood screws.

Front rocking hinge
It allows entire 1/5 scale LG unit to rotate giving the oportunity to instal shock absorbers or extra cusioning. It might
look strange installing shocks for a small models however existence of the hinge simplifyes LG installation and toy car shock
absorbers are not that expensive to try. Weight penalty is minimal.

Servo Stretcher

This is one fantastic device alowing to let the std servo rotate up to 180 degree
Additonally there is a center point adjastment too
If you realize this is a useful application to any servo in your model
Increased servo travel allows you to shorten the servo arm and make a sevo more powerful
Additionally ( in some cases) there is a selflocking ability on full 90 degree travel
which not suppouse to be ignored
Servo stretcher works with analog and digi servos as well
For Digi servos you can use servo Adjusters depending on the brand

You have to pick one hinge system out of 3.
1.knucle hinge ( 1/32" ( 0.8mm) wire in white housing - very popular
2.4 flat hinges set
3.Sonitronic CA hinges
