I will be available for selected speaking engagements beginning in 2013 & 2014. I am actor-turned-minister who has
been a New England pastor for over five decades. I have written two books about my spiritual journey from Hollywood to Calvary.
I have been a frequent guest on national TV program and radio shows sharing my faith and past Hollywood experiences. I have
been a speaker for the Gideon's Zone 8 Convocation in April of 2003 at Word of Life Fellowship in Schroon Lake, New York.
I have had the joy of speaking in many of our large churches, including the First Baptist Church of Dallas, TX. It was also
my joy to speak at the famed Tremont Temple Baptist Church in Boston. I recently was asked to give a three-hour lecture on
Why I Believe the Bible is the Word of God at an area Community College but the lecture was cancelled at the last minute (God
(Above) Dr. R. Gary Heikkila, pastor emeritus of Gardner's Mission Street Congregational
Church and Accredited Master Chaplain, CMC, Homeland Security, and Minister-at-Large, was
the guest speaker on Sunday, October 9th at The Lord's Church, Old Winchendon Center, Winchendon, MA.
The pastor, John Roy, welcomed many visitors to this historic church that was established in 1850.

Boston on Sunday, January 16, at the Assembly for Life rally. Offering prayer, and a eulogy for the last Dr. Mildred
Fay Jefferson, Heikkila has shared this distinguished platform with Dr. Jefferson on a variety
of occasions. Featured speaker for the rally was the former Mayor of Boston, and former United States Ambassador to
the Vatican, Raymond Flynn.
(Above) Dr. R. Gary Heikkila was among many distinguished speakers who eulogized the late Dr.
Mildred Fay Jefferson, the far-famed Pro Life Crusader, at the Harvard Memorial Church, Harvard University, on Friday, November
26th. Doctors, lawyers, politicians, and other dignitaries paid tribute to this remarkable woman. In referring
to Dr. Jefferson, Heikkila said, "Like the sun, she bathed us in her warm glow. Now that the sun has set and the cool
of the evening has come, some of the warmth we absorbed is flowing back towards her. She was gloriously unstoppable.
Like the gracious woman of Proverbs 31, 'Many have done excellently, but you exceed them all.'" Several hundred attended
this deeply moving tribute.
An Encore Performance
(From the Gardner News - July 15th 2010) By popular demand, Gardner’s 225th anniversary cemetery
re-enactment — during which the Rev. Dr. R. Gary Heikkila, above, portrayed Gardner’s first minister, the Rev.
Jonathan Osgood — will be repeated from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday,
Like the great apostle Paul, I have
built my theology on two great pillars: Jesus Christ died for our sins, and rose again for our justification
(I Corinthians 15). It is my desire in my speaking to turn people heaven-ward, God-ward and Christ-ward, with an
emphasis on Romans 10:9, 10.
