Here are some images of Native American style masks. I make other types too. Although I'm Irish/French, not a Native American Artist, I have been interested in their culture since I was 7 years old. I tried to honor their art when I made these. Even though these masks are not full size, some were made to be danceable, that means there is a block which can be gripped in the teeth to prevent the mask from banging into the wearer's face.

Hawk Mask

Made of a piece of found wood, that might be oak. About 14 inches tall and danceable. Eyes and nostrils are pierced. Colored with water paint and finished with multiple coats of Danish oil. Price is $375 USD plus shipping etc.
 
 
 
 
 
 

Iroquois False Face Mask

Bent Nose Style

Made of Basswood, about 9 inches tall. Colored with water paint and finished with multiple coats of Danish oil.  Wall hanging with pierced eyes, nose and mouth. These masks were painted red or black depending on whether the carving was started in the morning (red) or afternoon (black).
