Another Green-to-Checker race without any cautions. It went by in a blur, started 4th on the outside. Still on the same set of tires I started the season on. (I really just want to see how far I can stretch these things lol.. ) The car is really good in the center but can't pick it up soon enough without smokin the rears so I really gotta do something next week. Of course different size tires will change everything and then possibly the handling goes out the window as a trade for some traction, but what ya gonna do..

With the 6 on the pole, he did an awesome job for the first time being up there he held the lead I think for the first 10 laps. Of which time I beleive I was in fourth or fifth most of the time and when the front two bobbled a lil and caused the 4th place car to woe up a bit I tried to capitalize and grab a spot but was forced to the inside and being the overly nice guy that I am did not force my line and the issue. But paid the price as the car behind me got around me. At some point I am sure I will get tired of giving way, but knowing my tires would have given up if I drove any harder, last night was probably not the best time.

Now in 6th I stayed on the bumper of 5th place, and in all honesty my car was so neutral mid turn, I could have hit their bumper mid turn for several laps. But they never raced me that way so I wouldn't them either. Coming to the white flag the 7th place car was on my bumper but I figured if it went smoothly I should be able to hold 6th place.

Well, smoothly it didn't, on the back stretch the number 6 was going for a ride right in front of us, I have no idea what caused it or why, but it first looked like he was gonna hit the wall and I was on the inside, but then (thankfully for him and his cars sake) he swerved again and  came back heading towards the infield. It slowed me down a bit as it seeed he cleared with about 10 or 20 feet in front of my car. Trying to grab 5th now I dove into turn 3 a lil hot since I was waay on the inside with no line what so ever. The car that was behind me was now on the outside with more momentum and we made a lil contact and was just happy it didn't tear either one of us up. So 6th it is and is not too bad all things considred.

One way or another I will have two more new tires next week. I bought one this last week for the RF but didn't even use it. So two for the rear and the LF only has 3 races anyway, but would probably last all year... Hopefully it doesn't throw off the handling too much. I havent even been over the scales in 7 weeks anyway..lol No one to push me over.. I can set up my car way better just going by feel it seems...
Still 11th in points. Down to 52 pts out of first and now only 10 pts out of 10th. Only 42 pts seperate the top 10 positions...We had our first repeat winner, which we will probably see more of since there is not enough handicapped peeps and too many winners to keep them from starting higher than 10th.
